I made this to finish the yarn in my stash. This is the first triangle scarf I made and I like it although I haven’t had much chance to use it.

This is the first piece of clothing I made. I really liked the pattern and found it pretty simple to follow although I didn’t follow it completely. I was really happy with how the blouse came out. The yarn is also very nice and soft, comfort to knit with and to wear. Ideally I should have used this project to learn to swatch and calculate for designing patterns but instead I just knit, tried it on and if it didn’t fit I unraveled and started again. I am really happy with how the blouse came out but this doesn’t help me make clothes for other people because I wouldn’t know how to size it properly.

I made this to use up some of my stash yarn. It came out pretty well. I made a loop for elastic to avoid any accidents. It came out a little short though.

I made this following a pattern for a dishcloth. I made the neck a bit small but otherwise it’s really nice.

www.groupepp.com/dishbout/kpatterns/grfavorite.html

Instructions:

Cast on 4 stitches

Row 1: Knit 4

Row 2: Knit 2, yarn over, knit across the row.

Repeat Row 2 until you have 44 stitches on the needle.

Row 3: Knit 1, Knit 2 together, yarn over, knit 2 together, knit to the end of the row.

Repeat Row 3 until you have 4 stitches on the needle.

You can now either bind off or do a round or single crochet and make a little loop of chain stitches in one corner so you can hang the cloth to dry when you are finished using it.

I made this to help with nursing my baby but it came out really heavy and very hot so didn’t get a chance to use it. May be with the next baby.

I made this to learn entrelac knitting and to use it for nursing since I couldn’t use the other one. This helped quite a bit and I can probably use it during the next pregnancy too.

I was thinking of making myself some clothes for myself and a lot of my friends wanted stuff for themselves. Since I don’t swatch or mathematically design my knits I got a little overwhelmed trying to figure out how to knit a good fit. So I decided to switch to swim wear and made this for myself as a sample to figure out how it all worked together.

After making the bags and the disaster of the previous phone case I decided to give it another shot and was really impressed. I used the same method as Content B for the bottom and chose a flower for the motif. For the closure I used a big press button.

This is my first attempt at trying to make something sexy. I used a blouse pattern with big needles. I came out pretty nice but the stitches get pulled quite a bit and it can be a pain to fix.

After making the blouse I made this dress. I used the pattern for the blouse as reference and just extended it. It was a little tasking that I had to move it to scrap yarn to try it on and then back on the needles to continue knitting or to unravel and knit it up again. Although after it was done it really looked lovely.

More organizing for my needles. I used images from different patterns to get the idea to make these. This one is for my Tunisian hooks. I used stockinette for the sleeve. It was a bit difficult to get the openings to line up properly.

This is for my circular knitting needles. I added a slot for the needle gauge to keep the needles in the right place and to cross check the size of the needle when starting a project. I have 2 needles of each size.

Every year I would buy an organizer to convert into my journal. I use ruled, blank and graph paper in the journal to manage everything. So this time I decided to make one. I used 2×2 basket weave stitch for the cover. I have tried to convert to a digital journal but always found typing a pain. However, after my baby started getting into all my stuff I had no choice but to opt for apps on my phone to keep track of everything instead of pen and paper.

I made this for my husband to keep his keys and wallet. He stopped using it after awhile and I caught the dogs playing with it so I frogged it before they could rip it. I was thinking of making a toy for them but not sure if its safe.
