Dismay

This was the first phone case I made for one of my colleagues. I wasn’t really happy with the results because it ended up looking like a coin purse. I cross stitched the logo as a request.

My husband asked for an eye mask to help him sleep during the day while he was on the night shift. Again I misjudged the amount of a border I would need to keep the stockinette stitch from curling.

After watching the video of the flame detail for a scrunchie I decided to make a scrunchie. I made this one for my boyfriend who was growing his hair at the time.

After giving him the green scrunchie he asked for a colourful one.

Then I wanted one. It did a good job for a long time and then started losing it’s elasticity like any other scrunchie. I found it lasted longer than some of the others I have bought especially since I have thick hair. I also liked the fact that it doesn’t slide off as much as the others do.

My friend requested for one with a flower. I googled flower patterns and really liked this one.

Joyous Surprise

This was a nice quick project as a gift for a colleague. I was in a hurry and needed something quick which meant it had to be a small project. While looking for inspiration I found this scrunchie design and really like it. So I modified it for a bookmark. Needless to say I was happy with the results.

Dull Betrayal

Nov 2009

Vardhman Millenium Yarn

Acrylic Yarn

8ply / DK / Worsted Weight

8 mm Crochet Hook

This was the first scarf I made. My then boyfriend was complaining of the cold while riding his bike at night. I mentioned he should get a scarf and somehow the discussion ended with me making one. It came out really warm and a little stiff but did the job. Sadly the relationship was not meant to be. There are no ill feelings and the name has no meaning behind it.
