After watching the video of the flame detail for a scrunchie I decided to make a scrunchie. I made this one for my boyfriend who was growing his hair at the time.

After giving him the green scrunchie he asked for a colourful one.

Then I wanted one. It did a good job for a long time and then started losing it’s elasticity like any other scrunchie. I found it lasted longer than some of the others I have bought especially since I have thick hair. I also liked the fact that it doesn’t slide off as much as the others do.

My friend requested for one with a flower. I googled flower patterns and really liked this one.

This was a gift for a friend from church who is also an engineer in the army. In the time that he was posted in the city he became a close friend of the family and I wanted to give him something before he got posted somewhere else. I wanted to do something different and picked the purled ladder stitch from the library.

This was a gift for a friend of mine who helped a lot in the first job I had as tech support for an internet service provider. He would wear monkey caps to keep warm while riding his bike and looked like a toddler with a mustache. I made this for him hoping he would stop using the monkey caps. He said it was warm and comfortable enough to use but not as convenient. As for the pattern I used the moss stitch from the stitch library.

This was a gift for a good college friend of mine. I really like the look of stockinette but don’t like the curling. I wasn’t able to figure out how much of a border to add to stop the curling. Luckily she didn’t mind the curl and was happy with the scarf.
